While exploring the resort area after a swim, we spotted a familiar-looking man enjoying a cold drink with his family at the restaurant.
To our surprise, it was none other than Dr. Mahathir !
What are the odds of meeting such a well-known figure on a remote island?
I recognized him immediately and went over to greet him.
He was warm and approachable, and we had a brief but pleasant chat.
I asked if we could take a family photo with him, and he kindly agreed.
We gathered around, smiling for a truly memorable picture.
We thanked him and wished him well as we said our goodbyes.
